Description: Enjoy NASA images from Mercury and Apollo missions; participate in children's activities (make a comet, design an Exo-planet). Pose for photos with a life-size astronaut poster. There are 4 children's space suit costumes with helmets, and more! Image/Credit/NASA

Discover How to Identify Animals by Their Tracks

Location: Nature Discovery Center

Description: Learn how to identify native animal tracks.
For ages 10 through adult.
Cost: $25 public; $20 members of either the MKIM or the Nature Discovery Center.
Instructor: Rudy Bourget*

Description: Discover how our ancestors learned to find their way using what nature provides. Learn how to use the sun, moon, stars, and magnetism (compass).
Ages 11 through adult.
Cost: $20 public; $15 members of either MKIM of the Nature Discovery Center.
Instructor: Rudy Bourget*

*Rudy Bourget has studied primitive outdoor/wilderness survivial skills
for over 40 years and has been very active in Boy Scout and Cub Scout
leadership and training for nearly 20 yers. He had been a Merit Bedge
counselor for emergenc preparedness, wilderness survival, camping, hiking,
backpacking, and others. Rudy has presented programs and workshops
to benefit the Nature Discovery Center.
